Dr George Skevis- General Manager -CLEOS ( GasLog, Drylog, Olympic Shipping)

Dr George Skevis is the General Manager of CLEOS, the premier Greek maritime innovation hub, established by leading shipping companies GasLog, Drylog, and Olympic Shipping. CLEOS is dedicated to the decarbonization of the maritime industry by bridging advanced research with practical commercial fleet technical and operational solutions. A Mechanical Engineer by training, Dr Skevis holds degrees from Imperial College London (BEng, PhD) and Stanford University (MS). Prior to establishing CLEOS, Dr Skevis was a Senior Researcher at the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) and has served in multiple research and academic roles. He has significant expertise and has published extensively in the fields of energy efficiency, combustion of conventional and alternative fuels, emissions control and carbon capture, storage and utilization (CCUS) and has a long experience in managing multinational R&D projects as well as providing consulting services to the industrial and transportation sectors.
